B i o g r a p h y

Christina Infusino, soprano, performs in both opera and musical theater. Since relocating to South Florida she has sung with Opera Fusion, Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Miami Lyric Opera, Orchestra Miami, IlluminArts and ArtCenter/South Florida. Previously, in the Northeast she sang with MetroWest Opera, Commonwealth Lyric Theater, Raylynmore Opera, Longwood Opera, Nashua Choral Society, New England Opera, New England Light Opera, The New England Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and Geneva Light Opera. Roles include Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, 1st Lady and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and Sister Mathilde in Dialogues of the Carmelites. Cover roles were Norina in Don Pasquale, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Mother Marie in Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Adina in L’elisir d’amore. For her musical theater role of Little Sally in Urinetown, she was nominated for an Irene Ryan award. She holds a Master’s of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
